No heat. Troubleshooted as best I could. Still no heat. Called their number after hours, got a call-back, told of my troubleshoots, nothing to add, so scheduled appointment ASAP. Ben arrived next day and methodically located the problem. Got me heat, removed the faulty part to reorder. Very pleasant and very thorough. Got callback from office. Part will arrive there today! Ben returns tomorrow to install new part! Happy Me! Very skilled technician! Highly recommend. Ben returned today with the replacement part! Had to dismantle the heat pump outside to install it...doing HVAC yoga in the process. Triple checked inside and out, waited for several heat cycles before satisfied that everything was in good working order now. Highly skilled and thorough! Continue to highly recommend both this technician and this company!

This the second time Dylan has come for our system upkeep. He’s on time, pretty quick and thorough. He’s also personable and easy to talk to as he relays on any information he has for me.
We used 20/20 Air for the purchase, installation and maintenance of our ductless mini split system. From the first meeting with Tom to go over our options through the purchase and installation process and setting up the maintenance contract with Lindsay, they made the whole process seamless. The maintenance is set up so they reach out twice a year to set up an appointment. Today Kurt came out and performed the semi-annual maintenance. He called prior to arrival and arrived exactly when he said he would, wore shoe covers, (which btw wasn’t necessary) and cleaned and serviced all of our indoor and outdoor equipment. He was thorough, efficient and respectful. I would recommend 20/20 to anyone looking to upgrade their systems or maintain their existing equipment.

20/20 very responsive. The engineer, Dylan was very thorough and explained everything to me. The first visit was to determine why heating had stopped working at the end of the summer. He diagnosed that the new thermostat was wired wrongly and fixed it. The second visit was to find out why high efficency furnace in attic space was cutting out in extreme cold last winter. Turned out that heat tape was not working and had to be replaced. Dylan was professional and did a great job, explaining what the problem was and what would be the fix
The team at 20/20 are great. Even in peak season they offer a personal touch and make sure the job gets done in a reasonable time frame. There is a general sense of decency that is appreciated.

Called 20/20 Air Mechanical and the Receptionist was so kind and coordinated my response with the best service man ever! Stanley is a very brilliant guy who is passionate about his job! He problem solves well and was very attentive to my lack of sufficient heating throughout my house which I have been trying to solve via Service Stars and another company which escapes me. Those people sell you other services and send you to their partners leaving you BROKE with a higher heating BILL! It’s been two years since I am trying to get to the root of why my house is always COLD!? Stanley was the only one who was able to solve this problem and give me a sustainable solution - My home is now comfortable and heats efficiently!! Over two years after we installed a new furnace we had an issue with the hot water not getting hot enough. During that time two other techs tried to fix the problem. Recently the issue was finally resolved by Dylan Cherry. He spent time doing research on the furnace while at our house and from the documentation he was able to figure out how to change the system configuration resolving the issue!!! Thank you Dylan. I contacted 20/20 AMC because my furnacej kept shutting off! It was in the 30 range and I was worried about something bad that could potentially happen. They sent someone out to me right away! I couldn't believe it was that fast. Brian was the repairman that examined, diagnosed and repaired my issue. He got right to it and didn't stop working until he found the issue. He was so nice and honest about everything he was doing and had to do! He even stayed to make sure my furnace "kicked on" for the next cycle. This was during Christmas as well. I will use 20/20 AMC again and I will ask for Brian to be my repairman!
Good 20/20 experience
Brian installed a new water heater today and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Last week Brian said he would have the new heater and installed on Monday at 8:00 a.m. There he was a 8:00 sharp with the new heater. Brian is such as asset to 2020 Air. He is a professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He completed the work flawlessly and was as neat as a pin. There should be more Brian's out there and 2020 Air should be proud to have such a valuable employee.

Great installations. We've had them install three systems: A full (3 zone) AC, a ductless system in a detached garage, and a full-on (4 zone) oil fired boiler system in our home. All work has been A+. I do most work around my house myself but when it comes to AC or boiler work, I want to leave that to the experts. These guys are the experts.

Dylan was very responsive in identifying issues w/ my system and has always done a great job. However, the management of the company and scheduling of service lacked any resemblance of customer service. I had used 20/20 5x prior to this experience ànd as a repeat customer am shocked at the conduct of the office management. Thru their inability to be proactive they felt it was acceptable to wait 10 days for repair of my furnace and the ability to have hot water. When I asked to speak with the owner I was given the "IM THE ONLY BOSS" here answer. The clincher is they expect you to wait for them to order parts for routine repairs, which most would have in stock. Then when you're not willing to wait 10 days for them to get their act together believe you should be charged the service fee that would be applied against repairs. This is the first review I have written because I have never had a service provider conducted business in such an unprofessional manner. Do not call 20/20 if you want timely repairs although they are great at diagnosing, office is rude and follow thru nonexistent.

We had our air conditioning system yearly maintenance today, and Dylan was our service technician. I was impressed with how professional and personable he was. He made sure to respect our wishes to keep our pets safe (cats) while he was moving through various areas of the house. I think he was the first service person I have had here that made a point of keeping an eye on the cats and making sure they didn't get into trouble. Dylan was very knowledgeable about working on the various aspects of the entire air conditioning system. He explained everything he worked on with our system and made it clear what our options were for long term care of our system. He did not make it all about making more sales. He did a good job of explaining what we might need going forward, left me with information of some of our options, and did NOT pressure me to put a bunch of add-ons into the service call. That aspect was refreshing. It was nice to have a service technician help me maintain my system, without making me feel guilty for not signing up for hundreds of dollars of extra services. Dylan did a great job and I think 20/20 Air is lucky to have him as an employee. I would trust him to do all our work going forward, and I highly recommend him and 20/20 Air if you need air conditioning help.

Dylan showed up at the scheduled time and was very professional from the beginning. I took him to the a/c unit in the basement and he got to work. He explained what he was doing, answered my questions and described the different parts of the system. Then he trudged out in the snow to check the outside unit. When he finished, we discussed the need for some future work in the warmer weather. All in all, a very thorough and professional job.

They show up when they say they will. They are amazingly neat and all techs are great. Today was Tom P’s turn. He stayed on the issue and fixed it. Saw what no one else saw. I highly recommend them to anyone needing heating and cooling services and products.
New installation. Took advantage of a January discount from a quote I received in September, so glad I did. Tom P and Mahentra and the electrician, Joe did a great job on the install. Can't wait to use the cooling unit in summer. Neat and clean work. Difficult electrical install because we're on a cement slab and have a truss roof with many ceiling cut-in recessed "obstacles" i.e. skylight and other design features, but they did it! 20/20 was recommended to me by a friend who had a much easier install.
The people that answer the phone were all very courteous and helpful; and they were able to get me an appointment that same day. The technician Tom P was excellent! He quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the faulty part, and had my heat back on in less than an hour! I would highly recommend these people.

Today I had Sean B****** come to my home as a Tech for 20/20 to look at my central Air system and try to diagnose why the system was not producing cold air. Sean was very pleasant to talk with and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. The was very logical in his approach. he looked at one part of the system at a time. He determined that the system was low on refrigerant and that the contacts were very pitted. After replacing the contacts, he added a sealer then the R22. The system had come back to life for the moment. I will have 20/20 send someone out to discuss a new system in the end, but for now I am very happy with Sean's work in getting my antique system back up and running for the time being!

I wanted to let you know that Sean B. did a wonderful job on our air conditioning unit. He arrived right on time and even before he came into the house, he put booties on so that he wouldn't track any dirt inside. He was even kind to my dog. After looking at our unit, he sat down with me and explained everything he would do and quoted me a price. After deciding what option I would choose, he went outside and did the repairs. He let me come with him and showed me everything he was going to do. When it was all finished it turned out the total bill was less than he had estimated. Chris is exceptionally courteous, knowledgeable and informative. I learn more about my system each time he comes to my home. Pricing of the maintenance program is fine, but some parts not covered are very expensive. A capacitor the size of a juice can costing over $800? Really... But I stay with this company because their service is consistently excellent.

During the installation of a new system in our house, it was a pleasure to have William as the lead installer. William definitely has the technical expertise and the managerial skills to keep the team on track. He has very good communication skills and consistently kept us apprised of the status of the installation. We have had a number of contractors and tradespeople who have worked in our house over the past 18 years. William is by far one of the hardest working and most courteous people with whom we have worked. We look forward to seeing him when the annual servicing for the summer is done.

He not only checked our entire system, but found that our dryer vent had come loose. He fixed it as well. It is obvious that this young man knows what he is doing and enjoys his work. He spoke with us about how to save electricity and checked our thermostat to see if we were doing well. I will definitely ask for him when I need my next service!
We were in need of a new system (air handler and condenser). Our old one kept freezing and was very,very old and did not run efficiently. We called and made an appointment and Dale came out and looked at our unit and was very informative and helpful with making our decision on which unit would work for our needs. James and Chris came and installed our new system they did a great job removing and reinstalling the new units and were very professional,informative,courteous and neat. We would highly recommend 20/20 to our family and friends.

So lets just be clear. I've dealt a lot with a bunch of HVAC companies in the last few years. The service guys are almost always very friendly. Pat is no exception. He is always great, happy to explain anything, and gives great advice. The company is upfront with their pricing. Yes it is expensive for repairs, however I can tell you that I got the run around from 2 other companies on my house which ended up costing me thousands of dollars, and they wouldn't stand by their work. 2020 stands by their work, and they explain everything before you agree to a fix. Anyone who says otherwise clearly is not paying attention when they do so. They even tell you ahead of time, that the potential repair could be pretty expensive, so you know ahead of time. Each time, I was presented with a repair bill, on something I knew I couldn't fix myself, I paid it. And guess what? No problems with those fixes at all since. Its not cheap, but good service and quality usually isnt!

Justin was exceptionally thorough and the first technician who REALLY paid close attention to the very nuanced specifics and considerations that I was struggling with in regards to our home AC / Heat. He connected the dots on several related and unrelated issues which led to an accurate diagnosis. He aggressively followed up on details that helped steer my decision. He also followed up with CHIF as needed. Jessica is very responsive and timely in her outreach and feedback. I think she made a meaningful effort to help expedite our installation and we are very appreciative. Will and team were installation rock stars. He had a thoughtful response to every question. They were quick, clean, and thorough. They vacuumed up after themselves and didn't leave until I was comfortable that everything was working. The new system works very well! We've been in the home for 9 years and the last 24 hours may have been our most comfortable. Constructive feedback - to help you eat up the competition Justin and Jessica may have been missing one another from time to time as I received a handful of overlapping messages. I'm sure they have very busy schedules Justin and Will may not have been in sync with the need for a wire pull to my first floor thermostat but these guys handled it without a problem. Will and I were discussing the merits of replacing my existing line-set in the beginning of the day or keeping the old one (smaller diameter). I decided to proceed with plan to replace based on age of the old line-set. At the end of the day Will and I were discussing the efficiency benefits of having the upgraded line-set. You can probably appeal to customers more on the basis of the efficiency gain of upgrading the line-set when you run into similar situations.

20 20 Air were very responsive. I contacted them online and I got a phone call in the next day or two. They were very upfront about what they can or they cannot do and therefore I decided to go on a contract with them. Pat who came for the first visit to check the system before entering in a contract seems to be a very knowledgeable technician and he offered me a few options about the AC/heating system improvement. Based on my existing experience with them, I am hopeful that being on the contract with them will confirm my impression about they responsiveness and high level customer care.
Will did a great job installing our new air handler. He worked with two other guys and it took several hours to complete. It was a big job and on the 3rd floor of a very hot house! Will was very helpful and took the time to explain to me how the air handler works and how to use the thermostat.

Overall, I'd highly recommend 20-20 and will be calling them whenever my 40 year old furnace eventually kicks the bucket.

Will S. was very thorough in explaining everything that we needed in deciding what to be done to fix the old furnace and what was required to get a new and updated furnace. When it came time to instal the new furnace he and his helper Joe were efficient, respectful, clean, took the time to explain it's operation and removed all waste when they left. We will continue using 20/20 Air for service because of our excellent experience with them.
Originally, our new heating/cooling system was installed incorrectly by the technicians sent by 20/20, and we had numerous problems during cold weather because it was not operating properly. We called on a Saturday when we were not getting heat, and the technician who installed the unit originally came, worked on the problem, then left without fixing it (although he said it was fixed). After calling again on Sunday, John came out and fixed the problem by redoing the incorrect wiring. He also thoroughly checked the system and discovered that the ducting had been done incorrectly as well. He returned a week or so later and completely re did the ducting, and now the system is working properly. Although clearly the system should have been installed properly to begin with, John did an excellent job of fixing the problem, did not try to minimize the fact that the installation was not done right, and provided excellent customer service. When he left, I knew the job had been done right.
Will S. arrived on time in an emergency situation on a Saturday. He found the problem and fixed it quickly. He was very polite and helpful.

I hired 2020 Air to install a new Lennox AC unit without knowing that the blower of the furnace recently installed by another company was out working. After AC was installed, there was still no cool air coming out. I was getting impatient and upset at that point, knowing that I had to suffer another hot weekend without AC. But, Pat was very patient and professional. He took his time to diagnose the problem and eventually fixed it. The quality of his work was also superb, giving me the peace of mind that everything is working as they should. I will definitely hire him again for my next job and recommend him to my friends.

I called 20/20 Air because I had a problem with our HVAC. I have to say from the start the company was very service focused- making sure I know when the technician would be here. About a year ago we had 20/20 install a Mitsubishi unit in our basement. It replaced the old heating system we had down there and it provided us with much needed cooling and dehumidifying. We thought about putting a unit up stairs but wanted to wait to see how well this worked. We were so pleased with both the Mitsubishi unit and the service 20/20 provided that we just added the upstairs unit. 20/20 was a pleasure to work with on both occasions.

This company installed our central air last spring and we were very pleased so we brought them in for an annual maintenance. We asked them to also perform maintenace on our furnace and water heater so we can bring all these units under one service company umbrella. Will S. was very professional and extremely informed about all aspects of our equipment. I had many questions and he was able to answer them all satisfactorily. He was neat in his work space and clean up. I've now signed on for regular maintenance plan of all units. Now they'll automatically call to schedule the required maintenance as needed in the proper season for each unit - thus I won't be concerned about having to remember to schedule necessary service in a timely manner. What a crazy day for Joey D. About 12 inches of snow on the ground and he still came and did an excellebt job. He explained everything and what type of maintenance he was performing. He put in the original A/C and so it was comforting to see him because he did a great job with the installation.

The entire team at 20/20 air always provides courteous, prompt, helpful and competent service, from technical suggestions over the phone to extremely professional solution to heating (an A/C) problems. John Magro recently provide all of that, initial suggestions by phone on a Sunday, and then the time it took to solve a complex problem on Monday, always with a smile, with patience and with obvious professional skill and experience. Ok, I'll admit it, our heating unit hadn't been serviced in a few years and the humidification system wasn't working at it's optimum. Will S. from 20/20 was the service technician this day and made quick work of unclogging the water line and making a recommendation about changing our water panel type. He then preceded to ask if I wanted to do the winter service. He called into the office and actually found out there was a web deal going on and was able to perform all the checks and give some advice for what is due for replacement and perhaps some upgrades that could boost our efficiency. Overall I would recommend Will S. again. He was very knowledgeable and was looking out for my best interest.
John M was the technician from 20/20 Air Service Corporation who made a service call to my home on Thursday evening. John has been to my home before and I wanted to write this review to let you know what great service he provides. John is always professional and it is evident he has an excellent understanding of my equipment and how to best approach its repair, I believe 20/20 is very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and dedicated employee.

2020 Air sent John M. to our home today because we did not have heat. Our system was frozen and was locked up. John M. went WAY beyond what anyone would expect of a service repairman. He did not have the specific type of materials needed for my job and actually went to the hardware store to purchase what was needed for my system to thaw out and ultimately run again. He stayed for many hours adding some heating wires that would make certain that my system would not freeze up again during a very cold winter. He was always polite, extremely neat with the work he did and explained everything he did during and afterwards. He stayed for an additional amount of time to be absolutely sure that the heater would continue to work after he left. He is the very best service person I have encountered in many, many years of home ownership! Thank you John M.!
I got a next-day service appointment with 2020 Air. The Service Specialist, John M., did a terrific job of quickly diagnosing the cause of the problem and then took the appropriate steps necessary to resolve the issues. He also pointed out an additional area of concern, and subsequently fixed it on the spot. John M. was on-time for the appointment, curteous, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and resolution to me in a way that I could understand. I would definitely use 2020 Air again and recommend them to others.

One of the zones in my home was not producing heat although the boiler was running. John M was the service technician assigned. He was very straight forward, presented everything in a no-nonsense manner. He was patient with my questions and really was knowledgeable about our system. John explained details about the service plan as well as the flat fee pricing. In the end he fixed the problem without much fanfare. I would wholeheartedly endorse him as a service professional and if I ever have issues again with my heating or cooling, he'd be the guy I want to fix them.

People - technicians and all office personnel - from 20/20 Air have been taking excellent care of our heating and A/C problems (and general maintenance) for several years. Everyone is always friendly, helpful, competent, knowledgeable and trying to accommodate. Newest addition seems to be William, who has dealt with unusual problems in an always innovative and creative way, listens and understands our problems, and finds solutions. He is an excellent technician and conscientious service provider. We know we can rely on his expertise; and we know that he cares.

Will S: He was very prompt and polite when he arrived for my winter service. He spent the extra time explaining how things work with my humidifier, air handler, and heat pump. I asked him to teach me - (I am a elementary school teacher). So I let Will be my teacher and he is a very good one. :) He didn't rush through his job because he could tell I was sincerely interested in learning how to make my unit more efficient and understand how it functioned. This is a rare quality to find in a person today because everyone (myself included) seems to always be rushing to get the job done and move on. Will did NOT do that and I REALLY appreciate that example of kindness and dedication to his work. He also installed a new thermostat (my old one - which came with the unit when it was originally built - contained toxic mercury). This was a 20/20 recommendation from the previous spring "check up" but I forgot to remind the staff at 20/20 that I did want this done. Jessica kindly suggested that I ask Will if he had a t-stat on his truck. He did but I know it probably caused him to be late to his next appointment. I am sorry about the extra time one of your service specialists had to spend at my home - but I am not sorry that you sent Will. He is one of the BEST service specialists 20/20 has ever sent to my home and he deserves to know how grateful I am for his professionalism and kindness. We have had nothing but good experiences in the 7 years since our system was installed. Our yearly maintenance is scheduled when we want it done and every tech has been prompt, efficient and courteous.

They weren't the least expensive but after lotsa research - cost difference became negligible. Hard to do apples to apples comparison because each dealer sold different units. Chose 20/20 because from all we'd read (lots), when it comes to central air, the difference for most customers comes from the company who did the install/service. Just had a good feeling about working with 20/20 and we're thrilled so far. Only used the (Luxaire 2stage) unit a few times (still cool here). It's quiet as promised & manages the humidity immediately thus bringing quick comfort. Mike & Sak showed up at exactly 8:00 which REALLY impressed hubby and they were professional throughout the install. Was pleasantly surprised when Jessica called to arrange follow up check by Dale. Good customer service so far and that's always a good omen - right!

“On September 13 – we had our A/C cooling unit replaced by your company. It was a very difficult installation. The old unit had to be taken apart and removed through a very restricted hole. Also, the new unit had to be installed through that same entrance into the attic. Your installer, Joe, did a terrific job.
